Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What was the design concept for the Brat cover?
A: Charli XCX hopes to convey a rebellious spirit through the cover design, challenging traditional aesthetics and conventional practices in the music industry. She deliberately chose an unpleasant and even somewhat offensive green color, as well as a simple, blurred font, to break the convention of using exquisite photos for pop female singers' album covers, and to trigger people's thinking about the relationship between music and visual presentation.
Q: Why use green?
A: The cover uses a highly saturated, dazzling green, known as "lime green", "Shrek green" or "Brat green". This green breaks the conventional aesthetics and brings a strong visual impact, reminiscent of the dark side of industrialization. It contrasts with the vitality and nature represented by green in traditional cognition, thus causing a sense of unease and prompting people to reflect on social norms.
Q: Is the Brat Generator tool free? Can I share the downloaded images with others?
A: Yes, Brat Generator is free forever, helping you showcase your unique aesthetic and style, and you can share your work anywhere.
